The Unitree G1-D Ultimate C U8 is a mobile, high-performance dual-arm humanoid robot fitted with advanced tactile dexterous hands. It sits in the wheel-base Ultimate tier of the G1-D family, which means full mobility and manipulation in one platform, and its defining characteristic against its siblings is the tactile capability at the fingertips.

Tactile hands give the robot information no camera can supply. Vision tells a manipulation system where an object is; touch tells it what happened when contact was made — whether the grasp seated correctly, whether the object is slipping, how much force is being applied. For complex manipulation work, that feedback closes a loop that would otherwise stay open, and it is increasingly what embodied-AI training pipelines want alongside visual data. Mounted on a mobile chassis, those hands can be brought to objects wherever they are, rather than only to whatever has been staged in front of a fixed robot.

Unitree positions the Ultimate C U8 for complex manipulation tasks, AI development and research environments. It suits laboratories running contact-rich mobile-manipulation programmes, teams collecting multimodal datasets that pair vision with touch, and organisations developing autonomous behaviours intended to operate in unstructured, human-occupied spaces rather than in a fixed cell.

Robotix Market sources the Unitree G1-D range new through established distribution channels, and every unit is supplied with the full manufacturer's warranty provided by Unitree Robotics. Technical questions and any warranty work are coordinated with the manufacturer's service network. Because the G1-D is a research-grade platform, we recommend confirming your intended workcell layout, power provision and software toolchain with our team before ordering.
