- Traffic Light Recognition Multi-sensor fusion perception enables the OM1 to detect and respond to traffic signals at intersections, stopping on red and proceeding on green — meeting the traffic law compliance requirement for autonomous operation on public roads.
- 1.85-Metre Cleaning Width An 1.85-metre working width provides efficient road-lane coverage, reducing the number of passes required per carriageway width and maximising the area cleaned per hour during both overnight and daytime municipal cleaning schedules.
- Emergency Safety Braking Dedicated emergency braking capability for public road operation ensures the OM1 can stop rapidly in response to unexpected obstacles, vehicles, or pedestrians — meeting the safety requirements of shared-road autonomous operation.
- Remote Fleet Management Vehicle status query, video monitoring, and remote task scheduling allow municipal operations centres to manage OM1 deployments across a fleet without requiring supervisory staff to accompany each unit on route.
- Edge and Gutter Cleaning Dedicated edge cleaning capability targets road gutters and curbs where municipal debris — leaves, grit, paper, and organic matter — accumulates most heavily, ensuring effective coverage of the highest-concentration cleaning zones.
Description
The iTR OM1 is a dedicated autonomous outdoor municipal street sweeper built specifically for public road cleaning environments where traffic compliance, pedestrian safety, and 24/7 scheduling flexibility are non-negotiable operational requirements. It integrates sweeping, vacuuming, and ash (dust) reduction functions across an 1.85-metre cleaning width, and is equipped with multi-sensor fusion perception and traffic light recognition to navigate road intersections, comply with traffic signals, and operate safely alongside moving vehicles and pedestrians. Remote fleet management — including vehicle status query, video monitoring, and task scheduling — enables municipal operations centres to oversee OM1 deployments across an entire fleet without requiring supervisory personnel to accompany each unit.
The OM1's edge cleaning capability addresses the gutter and curb concentrations where road debris accumulates most heavily, while emergency safety braking and self-built high-precision map navigation ensure compliant, repeatable route coverage. iTR designed the OM1 as a distinct platform from its commercial venue iSweeper range — the W1 and W2 — specifically to meet the regulatory and operational context of public road deployment, where traffic management compliance and pedestrian coexistence requirements set this platform apart from commercial facility sweepers.

The iTR OM1 is an autonomous outdoor municipal street sweeper designed specifically for public road and street cleaning. It sweeps, vacuums, and reduces dust across road surfaces, gutters, curbs, and pedestrianised zones — environments where traffic compliance and pedestrian safety requirements distinguish it from commercial venue sweepers.
The OM1 uses multi-sensor fusion perception combined with dedicated traffic light recognition to detect and respond to red and green signals at intersections — stopping on red and proceeding on green in compliance with road traffic management. Emergency safety braking provides additional safety for shared-road operation alongside vehicles and pedestrians.
The OM1 is designed for municipal authorities and public road management agencies responsible for street cleaning on public carriageways, gutters, pedestrianised zones, and mixed-use urban environments where road cleaning requires traffic law compliance.
