- Optional End Effector The P1 is listed with an optional end effector, so the wrist arrives free — the right choice when the research question is locomotion, control or perception rather than grasping.
- Lightest of the Professional Builds At approximately 42 kg the P1 is around a kilogram lighter than the gripper- and hand-equipped P2 and P3 configurations.
- 31 Degrees of Freedom Thirty-one total joints — 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist and 2 at the head — give the whole-body range needed for humanoid control research.
- Thor T5000 Onboard Computing Thor T5000 compute with local air cooling runs perception and control on the robot, without depending on an off-board workstation.
- Binocular Vision at Head and Waist Booster lists binocular cameras in both the head and the waist, plus a microphone array and speaker, with LiDAR available as an option.
- 2 m/s Walking with Two-Hour Endurance A listed 2 m/s walking speed on a 48 V, 10 Ah battery delivering approximately two hours of continuous walking — enough for full experiment sessions.
Description
The Booster T2 Professional P1 is the base configuration of Booster Robotics' T2 humanoid development platform. The T2 series is built for embodied AI research, education, RoboCup-style soccer development, manipulation experiments and real-world humanoid application prototyping — the work of moving an algorithm from simulation onto hardware that has to walk, see and recover in a real room.
What distinguishes the P1 from its siblings is what is left off. Booster lists the P1's end effector as optional, so the robot arrives as a bare-wristed platform at approximately 42 kg, the lightest of the three Professional builds. For teams whose research question is locomotion, whole-body control, perception or humanoid soccer — none of which need a hand — that is the sensible configuration: you are not paying for, or carrying, an end effector the experiment never uses, and the wrist stays free for whatever the group develops or fits later.
The platform underneath is common to the whole T2 line: a 140 cm humanoid body with 31 total degrees of freedom, distributed as 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 at the waist and 2 at the head. Thor T5000 computing with local air cooling runs on board, and Booster lists binocular cameras in the head and waist, a microphone array and speaker, and optional LiDAR. Walking speed is listed at 2 m/s, powered by a 48 V, 10 Ah battery giving roughly two hours of continuous walking. Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB, locking Type-C, Ethernet and power-supply connections.
Booster positions the T2 for robotics laboratories, universities, AI developers, humanoid soccer teams, autonomy research groups and organisations evaluating embodied AI, giving them a practical base for whole-body control, perception, navigation, interaction, manipulation and application-specific software development.
Every unit is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with Booster Robotics' service network, and no on-site installation or commissioning is included.
