The AgiBot A2 VR Teleoperation Kit is an accessory for the AgiBot A2 humanoid robot that lets an operator wearing a VR headset control the robot and perceive its environment as if inhabiting it directly. AgiBot describes the system as enabling beyond-visual-range control with zero-delay audio and video sync, supporting remote-avatar applications. Working through AgiBot's AimMaster operator software, the kit maps the operator's natural arm and finger movements onto the robot's arms and dexterous hand in real time, providing an intuitive control interface that does not require joystick proficiency or knowledge of robotic coordinate systems.

The kit sits at the intersection of two use cases: human-controlled robotic presence in locations where the operator cannot physically be, and high-fidelity demonstration for training embodied-AI models. Because the quality of demonstrations strongly influences how capable a general-purpose robot becomes, VR teleoperation provides a natural way for human demonstrators to show the robot how to perform complex manipulation tasks while generating high-quality, labeled training data in the process. It is intended for research teams and integrators building manipulation capabilities on the AgiBot A2 platform.
